Wellness advocate launches Charlotte health boutique. Anniedi Essien opens Idem Spark.
Anniedi Essien’s startup is an ode to her mother.
Elizabeth Essien was diagnosed with cancer during Anniedi’s senior year at Brown University. Initially, Elizabeth was originally diagnosed with pneumonia, when the correct diagnosis was lung cancer. Her daughter pursued a career as a healthcare consultant to address the system that failed her mother.
Anniedi will launch Idem Spark, a wellness boutique that encourages women to take control of their health on Jan. 18.
