It’s easy to oversimplify wellness. When you look at things like your job title, the number in your bank account, and your jean size, getting swept up in all of these numbers and figures that seem to “define” you as a person HAPPENS.
But the more you do it, the more it starts to “define” your idea of your own success. Isn’t it time we change the rules? Here’s a reality check! You’re MORE than what those different numbers and metrics might say (or not say) about you.
Hundreds of different little things make up Y-O-U, and you can’t just boil that down to a few things on a sheet of paper! Instead, you should look at your wellness in broader ways. Ask yourself:
- What gives me that sparkle in my eye?
- What lights me up?
- What brings me joy?
- What am I passionate about?
These things are MUCH better indicators of who you are than the title on your LinkedIn page or the number on your pay stub. Look at wellness from every angle using our Ka-Isang Method, based on the Nine Essentials of Total Health, for a more holistic approach and to start amping up your swagger across every area of your life—personal, professional, financial, and beyond!
